Desert Island Foundation | Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

I knew about the existence of this foundation from one of Lisa Eldridge's video. Then I saw it from Pixiwoo foundation related videos and they mentioned that it is a good dupe for Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation that I have been wanting to try! So when my best friend went to UK last two years Christmas, I just had to ask her to help buy it for me.

When I first tried this foundation about over a year ago, it was LOVE. SUPER LOVE. Ever since, I only use this foundation for those special days. And events. This foundation gives a very natural look, look even better after hours wearing it. I don't need concealer to cover redness around my nose area, and if I do, it'd be just to cover blemishes. It IS that good! I want to keep it for as long as I could but we all know, for hygienic purposes that is not possible.

Shade: 53, Light Beige/ Beige Clair (slightly darker on me, has yellow undertone)
Texture: Light and runny
Fragrance: Subtle hint of fruity scents - from the ingredients used
Finish: Semi-dewy, looks natural on my dry skin
Coverage: Light to medium
Longevity: Last for over 8 hours - I sometimes used it to work, keep my t-zone looking matte for the first few hours, then my t-zone started to look shiny (blot!!).

However I could not find this foundation on ASOS and Boots anymore, although they still have it in their website. I would love to try this in lighter shade, 52 Vanilla. Having tried this foundation, makes me want to get the Chanel foundation even more. Finding the right shade online would be tricky although I may have found out which shade will suit me based on the gazillion reviews I have read.

Since I'm saving this foundation, I recently bought the reformulated Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance Revealed foundation in shade 52 Vanilla and Bourjois Happy Light Illuminating Primer from ASOS. I have not tried the original formula but I'm always intrigued to find out. From the reviews I read, there are mixed reviews with the new formulation. But that didn't stop me to purchase it. Oh well. ;)

Now we know

Yesterday after work, I told Dear Husband that I want to go to Yayasan to look at Dr Ding's opening times. I could've called but I want to try our luck as well in case the clinic still opens.
When we arrived around 6pm, we went straight to the clinic and I took a picture of their opening times. And guess what? The clinic will be open at 7pm! I was excited and nervous at the same time.

We waited for almost an hour and had our ultrasound - witnessed by Dear husband and baby Iqbal. And we finally can confirm the gender for our baby! I'm so excited and happy but my EDD and baby's weight worrying me. I definitely need to eat more! :(

Let me introduce to you, Baby A. 😍

Review: Bio Essence Tanaka White Range

As I have mentioned before, Bio Essence Tanaka White range was recommended by my best friend who is currently using it. Since we have the same skin type, this range should works on me as well. I finally bought the starter kit from Hua Ho cost $8.35 which includes facial wash, toner, day and night cream, a sample of essence and a piece of sheet mask.

Our night cream has finished and we have stopped using this range, currently trying out laneige. So, after using Bio Essence Tanaka White range for 2.5 weeks, I can see that my skin have improved. My skin moisture level improved just after one week using it. I can see that my face is smoother and radiant. My dark spots lighten and blackheads become less visible. I like this range as it is simple to use, just cleanse, tone and moisturise. These are sufficient for someone who does not like to apply a lot of products on their face.

Gentle Cleansing foam. When I first started using this wash, it was too drying for my face. I didn't feel m…

Designer Bag Wish List

I have this list wandering in my mind for a while now and somehow it bothers me. Lol! Might as well do a post about it right? I don't think it differs a lot from my previous list though.

1. Chanel Classic Flap - medium, caviar, black with GHW This couldn't get anymore classic that the bag itself. Although I have been liking the Mini version of it more recently. With the price difference and the capacity, it seems like the mini one gets another point from me.

Also, I have been considering to get the WOC. I must say, getting a WOC is trickier. Other Designer brands have this too - I have been eyeing on the YSL one. I know Gucci and Dior have WOC too. Different price point but the capacity are almost the same for each. It's either to go with the Designer name or the price. What would you do?
Chanel WOC or YSL WOC?
2. Louis Vuitton Alma BB - preferably in navy or red
Yes yes, I know I already have one in the PM size which means that this purchase will only be justifiable if I sel…
