Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 310 Warm Golden

Among my recent haul from Guardian, I bought Revlon Colorstay Foundation in shade 310 Warm Golden. I, as usual read reviews to find out which shade will suits me. When I went to Guardian, I went to the display look for the shade, went to the counter and paid for it. I came home and tried the foundation right away. Swatched it and put a few drops for my face. I looked dark. My face is at least twice darker than my neck. :O I asked opinions from my mom and husband, they both said it IS dark. Even darker after it oxidized.
I was puzzled. I thought I bought the right shade. The testers at the shop is questionable hence I did not tried it. I should have but no. I go back to the reviews again. And apparently I bought the WRONG shade. I was supposed to get 300 Golden Beige (unfortunately not available here!). Both names have "golden" in it, I guess that's where I was wrong. :( I remember the lighter shades available are Sand Beige and Nude. Although.. While I was trying the foundation, I like the finish and lasting power. So perhaps I will try Nude next.

I'm letting go this foundation in Warm Golden for $20 (including postage). As mentioned above, I only used a couple of drops. If you know anyone using this shade, please let them know. :)

  1. I was looking for Golden Beige too!!! It's a shame they don't have it here ughhh so annoying!!!
The finish is nice, isn't it? If you have the chance, the Revlon Nearly Naked is nice and light but the one I have is too orange lol just a warning, don't get 'Warm Beige'!!

    The Revlon Whipped looks interesting too. Limited shades, again though ;w;

I'll share the post on FB and see if anyone uses it lol

    1. Thank you Dear! That's very kind of you.
I do want to try Revlon Nearly Naked. Been waiting for it to come to this side of the world hehhe..

  2. Hi there! i am one of your silent readers and it's my first time commenting here :) anyhow, i have tried this foundation in exactly the same shade and i too found it darker than my skin tone. after i finished the tube, i decided to try Nude but it's a bit lighter for me. i guess my shade will be something between these two.

I suggest you to keep this and try mix Warm Golden and Nude together to see if it's the perfect shade. if Nude alone works best, only then you should let this foundation go. Just sharing my opinion though.

Sorry if this post is getting too long. LOL :)

    1. Oh hey there!

Thank you for taking your time reading and commenting! :) That's very kind of you. I'll definitely will take into consideration of your suggestion. I'm scared Nude will be too light for me. Too bad they don't have wider range of shades available here kan?

Now we know

Yesterday after work, I told Dear Husband that I want to go to Yayasan to look at Dr Ding's opening times. I could've called but I want to try our luck as well in case the clinic still opens.
When we arrived around 6pm, we went straight to the clinic and I took a picture of their opening times. And guess what? The clinic will be open at 7pm! I was excited and nervous at the same time.

We waited for almost an hour and had our ultrasound - witnessed by Dear husband and baby Iqbal. And we finally can confirm the gender for our baby! I'm so excited and happy but my EDD and baby's weight worrying me. I definitely need to eat more! :(

Let me introduce to you, Baby A. 😍

Designer Bag Wish List

I have this list wandering in my mind for a while now and somehow it bothers me. Lol! Might as well do a post about it right? I don't think it differs a lot from my previous list though.

1. Chanel Classic Flap - medium, caviar, black with GHW This couldn't get anymore classic that the bag itself. Although I have been liking the Mini version of it more recently. With the price difference and the capacity, it seems like the mini one gets another point from me.

Also, I have been considering to get the WOC. I must say, getting a WOC is trickier. Other Designer brands have this too - I have been eyeing on the YSL one. I know Gucci and Dior have WOC too. Different price point but the capacity are almost the same for each. It's either to go with the Designer name or the price. What would you do?
Chanel WOC or YSL WOC?
2. Louis Vuitton Alma BB - preferably in navy or red
Yes yes, I know I already have one in the PM size which means that this purchase will only be justifiable if I sel…

Review: Bio Essence Tanaka White Range

As I have mentioned before, Bio Essence Tanaka White range was recommended by my best friend who is currently using it. Since we have the same skin type, this range should works on me as well. I finally bought the starter kit from Hua Ho cost $8.35 which includes facial wash, toner, day and night cream, a sample of essence and a piece of sheet mask.

Our night cream has finished and we have stopped using this range, currently trying out laneige. So, after using Bio Essence Tanaka White range for 2.5 weeks, I can see that my skin have improved. My skin moisture level improved just after one week using it. I can see that my face is smoother and radiant. My dark spots lighten and blackheads become less visible. I like this range as it is simple to use, just cleanse, tone and moisturise. These are sufficient for someone who does not like to apply a lot of products on their face.

Gentle Cleansing foam. When I first started using this wash, it was too drying for my face. I didn't feel m…
