2013 Beauty Favourites

** Sorry about the quality of the pictures. Insya Allah will update it as soon as I can with better ones.

2013 is coming to an end. I'm discovering plenty of beauty products this year. Most of the products are cult products recommended by beauty bloggers and alike. For skincare, I have written products that I'm currently using and loving it for what it does to my skin [here]. On the other hand, for make up I found myself to love lip products more than blushes and face products. And now, I know which shade I prefer and will get a lot of use. Buying beauty products online is tricky (and risky!) so I read a lot of reviews before deciding. 1. Love that Healthy Mix made it to your list, I'm slowly going through mine because I'm scared it will run out! Wish Malaysia would bring Bourjois in already! :)

    1. Same here! That's why I bought Revlon foundation recently. The not so good news is Bourjois does not have Healthy Mix anymore. In fact, they have reformulated the original Healthy Mix foundation. I'm trying that one next to see how it compares :) Glad ASOS offers free worldwide shipping to get my Bourjo fix! Teehee! ;)

    2. Oh, I just saw the new one on asos! Reformulated..hmm. Will have to see whether it's better. Right now I'm telling myself to be good and no more foundation/base products until I finish up at least one bottle! 2013 was definitely a year of stocking up on base products. -_-"

Now we know

Yesterday after work, I told Dear Husband that I want to go to Yayasan to look at Dr Ding's opening times. I could've called but I want to try our luck as well in case the clinic still opens.
When we arrived around 6pm, we went straight to the clinic and I took a picture of their opening times. And guess what? The clinic will be open at 7pm! I was excited and nervous at the same time.

We waited for almost an hour and had our ultrasound - witnessed by Dear husband and baby Iqbal. And we finally can confirm the gender for our baby! I'm so excited and happy but my EDD and baby's weight worrying me. I definitely need to eat more! :(

Let me introduce to you, Baby A. 😍

Designer Bag Wish List

I have this list wandering in my mind for a while now and somehow it bothers me. Lol! Might as well do a post about it right? I don't think it differs a lot from my previous list though.

1. Chanel Classic Flap - medium, caviar, black with GHW This couldn't get anymore classic that the bag itself. Although I have been liking the Mini version of it more recently. With the price difference and the capacity, it seems like the mini one gets another point from me.

Also, I have been considering to get the WOC. I must say, getting a WOC is trickier. Other Designer brands have this too - I have been eyeing on the YSL one. I know Gucci and Dior have WOC too. Different price point but the capacity are almost the same for each. It's either to go with the Designer name or the price. What would you do?
Chanel WOC or YSL WOC?
2. Louis Vuitton Alma BB - preferably in navy or red
Yes yes, I know I already have one in the PM size which means that this purchase will only be justifiable if I sel…

Review: Bio Essence Tanaka White Range

As I have mentioned before, Bio Essence Tanaka White range was recommended by my best friend who is currently using it. Since we have the same skin type, this range should works on me as well. I finally bought the starter kit from Hua Ho cost $8.35 which includes facial wash, toner, day and night cream, a sample of essence and a piece of sheet mask.

Our night cream has finished and we have stopped using this range, currently trying out laneige. So, after using Bio Essence Tanaka White range for 2.5 weeks, I can see that my skin have improved. My skin moisture level improved just after one week using it. I can see that my face is smoother and radiant. My dark spots lighten and blackheads become less visible. I like this range as it is simple to use, just cleanse, tone and moisturise. These are sufficient for someone who does not like to apply a lot of products on their face.

Gentle Cleansing foam. When I first started using this wash, it was too drying for my face. I didn't feel m…
