January 2013 Favourites

I have been wanting to post 'favourites' post for the past few days just because I love watching other people favourites in Youtube for last month. Since I do not have a big collection of makeup (yet), I have decided to pick my top 5 favourite products every month.

Here are my top 5 picks for this month :D

1. Soap & Glory Hand Food - This hand cream lives in my bag. I'm reaching for this every time when I go out and also, before I go to bed at night. I need back up urgently!!! [review here]

2. Natural Collection blush in Pink Cloud - This is my second blush from this range. I love the light pink colour for a pop of colour especially during day outing. Definitely a sheer blush and the colour can be built up. It is not powdery/ chalky at all. For something that only cost GBP1.99, I have been reaching for this blush the most last month.

3. NYX round lipstick in B52 - I love to wear this when I go out during the night as it is a bit darker than what I normally wear in the day. This lipstick is creamy, not drying (better than my MAC lipsticks!) but it does not have that sheen so I sometimes use a gloss on top of it. I adore the colour! :D

4. Missha Perfect Cover BB cream (No.21) - I bought this from ebay for less than B$10 for 20ml. Missha in Brunei does not sell this small version sadly. I think the colour is a little bit lighter for my skin tone but it's okay. I'll buy No.23 the next time to compare. This BB cream gives me a light to medium coverage which I prefer and I like this better than Skin79 Snail Nutrition.

5. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium - I have tried three concealers including this, and this by far gives the best coverage for my acne scars and to cover redness around my nose since I have been having runny nose lately. Now I know why every beauty guru loves this! I need a back up for this too! :(

I hope you enjoy my first favourite post! :D What have you been reaching for last month?

Now we know

Yesterday after work, I told Dear Husband that I want to go to Yayasan to look at Dr Ding's opening times. I could've called but I want to try our luck as well in case the clinic still opens.
When we arrived around 6pm, we went straight to the clinic and I took a picture of their opening times. And guess what? The clinic will be open at 7pm! I was excited and nervous at the same time.

We waited for almost an hour and had our ultrasound - witnessed by Dear husband and baby Iqbal. And we finally can confirm the gender for our baby! I'm so excited and happy but my EDD and baby's weight worrying me. I definitely need to eat more! :(

Let me introduce to you, Baby A. 😍

Review: Bio Essence Tanaka White Range

As I have mentioned before, Bio Essence Tanaka White range was recommended by my best friend who is currently using it. Since we have the same skin type, this range should works on me as well. I finally bought the starter kit from Hua Ho cost $8.35 which includes facial wash, toner, day and night cream, a sample of essence and a piece of sheet mask.

Our night cream has finished and we have stopped using this range, currently trying out laneige. So, after using Bio Essence Tanaka White range for 2.5 weeks, I can see that my skin have improved. My skin moisture level improved just after one week using it. I can see that my face is smoother and radiant. My dark spots lighten and blackheads become less visible. I like this range as it is simple to use, just cleanse, tone and moisturise. These are sufficient for someone who does not like to apply a lot of products on their face.

Gentle Cleansing foam. When I first started using this wash, it was too drying for my face. I didn't feel m…

Designer Bag Wish List

I have this list wandering in my mind for a while now and somehow it bothers me. Lol! Might as well do a post about it right? I don't think it differs a lot from my previous list though.

1. Chanel Classic Flap - medium, caviar, black with GHW This couldn't get anymore classic that the bag itself. Although I have been liking the Mini version of it more recently. With the price difference and the capacity, it seems like the mini one gets another point from me.

Also, I have been considering to get the WOC. I must say, getting a WOC is trickier. Other Designer brands have this too - I have been eyeing on the YSL one. I know Gucci and Dior have WOC too. Different price point but the capacity are almost the same for each. It's either to go with the Designer name or the price. What would you do?
Chanel WOC or YSL WOC?
2. Louis Vuitton Alma BB - preferably in navy or red
Yes yes, I know I already have one in the PM size which means that this purchase will only be justifiable if I sel…
